Whether you're a high school student aiming to improve your Afrikaans marks, or an adult looking to enhance your English communication skills, I can help you reach your goals.
Students learn best when they are encouraged to participate actively. Because of this, my teaching style is engaging and student centred. Each lesson is designed around your individual goals, pace, and interests. This approach ensures that every session is meaningful, effective, and enjoyable.
My name is Werner, and I live in Cape Town, South Africa. I majored in English, Afrikaans, and Classical Studies at the University of Cape Town, and I completed my Honours in Library Science. I later earned a Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). Teaching is my passion, and I work hard to foster the same love for language in my students that I have. Nothing gives me more joy than seeing learners grow in confidence and succeed with my support.
CAPS, IEB, Cambridge students (FAL and SAL Grades 7–12) and adult Afrikaans learners.
